It all started with a Facebook message (yes… seriously). Cam slid into my DMs right before I graduated from high school, and not long after, we had our first date over Oberweis ice cream. He took a very odd route home that I was not at all familiar with, and I briefly wondered if I was getting kidnapped - but clearly, everything worked out!

We started dating in 2017 and spent all of our college years together at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (ILL!), where our relationship truly grew. Eight years later, and the rest is history.

Cam proposed in December 2024 on the beach in Jupiter, Florida - our absolute favorite place and a warm-weather win for me, since I always told him I didn’t want to be cold when he proposed!

We always joke that we’re basically the same person and have just about everything in common. Honestly, we’re like two 80-year-olds at heart - we’re usually in bed by 9 p.m. (wish me luck staying up past 10 on our wedding night!).

We love staying active together - whether it’s going on walks through Glen Ellyn, running on the Prairie Path, or golfing with friends. Also, most of our friends and family know that I love to cook, bake, and be in the kitchen, so on most weekends, you’ll find us in the kitchen trying new recipes with a glass of wine (or in Cam's case, an espresso martini) in hand, or checking out local restaurants! It’s one of our favorite ways to unwind, connect, and just enjoy each other’s company.

After nearly nine years together, we’ve been dreaming about this day for a long time, and we can’t wait to share this next chapter with all of you in paradise!
